What this role is: 

You are the catalyst behind Genesys’ success, solving the business needs of prospects and customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Genesys solutions. You will collaborate within a team to leverage leads provided by Marketing and developing new opportunities on your own, also collaborating with a Channel Partner, handling all different kinds of sales scenarios and ultimately closing opportunities provided to you. Your superior active listening skills will drive you to collaborate effectively alongside multiple team members, in an international and dynamic environment.

 

What this role isn’t: 

You are not “behind the scenes”. You will have a unique opportunity to understand our customers strategies and help them drive their business using our unique solutions. Your consultative sales approach will be the key for your success.

 

As Genesys Account Executive, your main goal is to turn as many opportunities into closed-won deals as possible. Once an opportunity has been closed, you will help manage the initial phases of post-sales support and ensure implementation is set up accordingly e be engaged in the full sales cycle.

 

What will you bring on the table?

 

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work-related work experience
  • +7 years previous business-to-business SaaS Sales experience with a documented track record of success as a Sales Account Executive in Cloud or SaaS-based software
  • Confirmed ability to lead a complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment 
  • Proven experience communicating, negotiating, and closing with executives and stakeholders
  • Proven experience understanding customer needs and being able to articulate solutions
  • Proven track record of growing your territory through increasing your pipeline with current customers and net new logos
  • Ability to travel up to 50% 
  • Fluent both in English and local country language
