Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist

 

The Accounts Payable Specialist position will be part of Accounts Payable team reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

 

Primary responsibilities include the following:

1.      Processing of employee expense reports, assistance in employee questions or concerns surrounding travel and expense and corporate card. This role will play an integral part in the day-to-day T&E operations.

2.      Process full cycle related to Vendor Payment.

  

Detailed Responsibilities:

Below are the detailed responsibilities:

·         Review employee expense reports for accuracy, processing and payments

·         Record Vendor invoices and process payments

·         Research and resolve concerns related to Vendor Invoices/payments and concerns related to employee expense reports, travel and corporate cards

·         Identify and initiate process improvements

·         Assist with month end accruals and reconciliations

·         Perform other ad hoc projects as assigned

 

Qualifications/Skills Desired and Preferred:

·         Business Degree or equivalent experience preferred

·         At least 3+ years Accounts Payable and/or Travel & Expense experience preferred

·         Experience processing in multiple locations

·         Concur experience a plus (Administrative Function and Processor)

·         Experience in Netsuite and Coupa is an advantage

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) required

·         Strong attention to detail with consistency and punctuality

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all departments and levels within the company

·         Strong customer service and analytical ability

·         Ability to handle a high-volume, deadline driven environment

·         Ability to work effectively with other team members

·         Ability to adapt to change
