AI/Machine Learning Scientist

What this role is:

As an AI/Machine Learning Scientist on the Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) Operation Research Team, you will embark on a journey to build a new ML platform and bring life to data science use cases. You will work in a fast-paced startup environment where continuous change, innovation, and experimentation are a given.

 

WEM innovates in domains like forecasting, scheduling, workforce resource and engagement management, performance analytics, machine learning, data science, and reporting. We are currently looking for AI/ML Engineer who have excellent design and hands on experience in programming and data skills.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

To be successful, you should have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in contact center and customer service related large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve strategic and operational business outcomes. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. A successful candidate will help deploys statistical methods and machine learning to derive actionable insights, data visualizations, and models from disparate data sources, and be able to communicate those learnings to management.

 

Some details about what you’ll do:

  • Design and build AI/ML platform to automate predictive and prescriptive models training and validation and run data science use cases at scale

  • Work closely with Software and Data Engineer to deploy data science prototypes in production

  • Monitor and validate the algorithms and ensuring that they generate accurate results.

  • Develop A/B testing framework and test model quality

  • Documenting machine learning processes

  • Keeping abreast of developments in machine learning and AI fields

  • Responsible to ensure that AI/ ML solutions meets Genesys AI ethics, modelling guidelines and standards

  • Understand and comply with PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR

  • Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field

  • Extensive data modeling and data architecture skills

  • Excellent programming skills in Java, Python, or C++

  • Knowledge of distributed data/computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Spark)

  • Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture

  • In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.

  • Ability to develop, monitor, debug and maintain a CI/CD pipeline that feeds into a production deployment.

  • Good command and experience in building and maintaining Data Science and Business Intelligence applications.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
