Genesys is hiring a sales professional for a Junior Sales role in the Enterprise Market team for various verticals. At Genesys, our Junior & Senior Account Executives are the catalyst behind the growth and success of the company and carry responsibility for all sales opportunities across the Enterprise business segments. As Junior Account Executive you will learn how to become a consultative sales professional, how to take ownership for; positioning the full Genesys solution portfolio, developing and managing a sales pipeline, securing net-new business, and driving revenue growth from within the existing customer base. In co-working with a dedicated Senior Account Manager & Sales Coach, you will learn from experienced Genesys Employees.

The Junior Account Executive’s main goal is to achieve an annual sales target with its Senior AE counterpart by converting as many opportunities into won business as possible. Once an opportunity has been closed, the Account Team´s role is to engage with the appropriate internal resources to help manage the initial phases of post-sales support and ensure the implementation is set up accordingly.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers/prospects
  • Being part of numerous complex and consultative sales engagements
  • Selling complex software solutions into multiple vertical markets
  • Jointly developing account and opportunity plans in a motivated team with a Senior AE
  • Identification of customer/project needs and mapping to the Genesys portfolio
  • A team player and a leader of virtual teams, able to orchestrate and win complex sales cycles
  • Revenue responsibility and carrying of a (team) quota

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or similar education
  • 2 – 5 years of professional experience 
  • Enthusiasm for customer service and customer experience management – any kind of customer service background is appreciated
  • Maximum demands on the quality of your work as well as a high degree of sales and customer orientation
  • Committed, proactive, team-oriented and stress-tested
  • Self-assured appearance and pronounced presentation skills 
  • Very good rhetorical skills and communication strength
  • Fluent in German and English language
  • Strong success orientation
  • Willingness to travel frequently
