Genesys is looking for a Commissions Manager to join the team. The Manager must be a self-starter, a clear communicator and highly analytical. They are a player-coach who leads through example and is willing and able to dive in when needed and roll up sleeves to attack problems and devise solutions.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Thoroughly understand and execute calculations on all compensation plans to ensure payments are accurate, complete, timely and in compliance with company policy
  • Work with Commissions team to validate accruals and ensure compliance with ASC 606 commission accounting
  • Fully meet information and reporting needs of sales team, sales management, finance and other business partners via reporting and strategic analysis
  • Share industry best practices on commission plan design focused on driving behavior
  • Provide cost modeling impact on changes to commission plan changes
  • Support the ongoing review, evaluation, and modeling of new or updated sales incentive programs. Maintain a focus on continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing time/resource saving solutions
  • Be liaison with sales teams to respond to issues and questions concerning incentive plan payments and policies

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales operations/finance role supporting sales incentive plan operations
  • Comfortable partnering and engaging with cross-functional teams
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to think quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with willingness to appropriately debate difficult issues
  • Experience with commercial software applications. SFDC and Callidus experienced highly desired
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
