Sr Channel Sales Manager (Telecom), LATAM Spanish

Job Description


We are looking for a Sr Channel Sales Manager to be responsible for manage and develop the sales activity for Genesys's business focused in the Telecom segment over the LATAM Spanish territory. This position will be responsible for achieving a significant portion of Genesys sales revenue target. 


Some responsibilities:

  • Individual contributor responsible for selling Genesys solutions and services in assigned territory through indirect sales channels. 
  • Manage existing Telecom channel partners. 
  • Main focus on acquisition and developing new channel partners and managing existing ones. 
  • Work with Telecom channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities; 
  • Provide channel partner feedback to the company to match market needs with company products; 
  • Identify and qualify new distributors; 
  • Interfaces with the channel to ensure that service level agreements are met. 


Job Duties (includes but not limited to):


·       Lead sales process including detailed product demonstrations self-sufficiently

·       Identify, qualify and close new customers within assigned territory

·       Lead product demos and business presentations on a consistent weekly basis

·       Lead and present formal business proposals at the executive level

·       Manage multiple sales cycles in a transactional, fast-paced selling environment

·       Partner with cross-functional resources to drive deal collaboration

·       Prepare accurate sales forecasts and sales cycle reporting via Salesforce.com

·       Meet or exceed all weekly KPI and quarterly bookings quota


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years professional selling experience in indirect business sales, preferably in areas such as business services, technology and telecom
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with prior experience of closing new business over the phone, web and email.
  • Develop proficiency of Genesys Cloud offers and industry
  • High levels of social perceptiveness and customer service
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results oriented
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Language Skills: Native Spanish, Fluent English.
