Summary:

This new role provides the unique opportunity to craft, implement, and optimize the way Genesys markets with its partners. The leader will work closely with the Genesys digital marketing, brand marketing, and channel teams to define and implement the processes, expertise areas, and technology/tools to increase partner marketing outcomes and ROI. 

 Focus includes:

  • Scaling the way we support 1:1 customized marketing programs with strategic and transformational partners
  • Optimizing how we leverage in-house resources, agency resources, and systems to support 1:many joint marketing with all partners including master agents, distributors, and resellers
  • Drive partner engagement and increased outcomes through campaigns, communications and enablement 

 

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to).:

  • Leadership
    • Be a fantastic team leader and help the team grow and be successful
  • Communications
    • Keep partners up to date on the newest campaigns, programs, etc.; provide the partners need to go-to-market with Genesys effectively
  • Enablement
    • Ensure partners have access to marketing training, best practices, and campaign resources to help them engage successfully with their prospects and customers digitally
  • Campaign Execution
    • Optimize the process to design, execute and scale digital marketing initiatives with strategic partners
    • Implement best practices to increase campaign outcomes and ROI.
  • Systems & tools
    • Define and manage the partner marketing technology architecture needed to support market with and through our partners

 

        

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant additional experience in related field. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Experience: 10 or more years of B2B channel marketing experience, preferably in the high-tech software environment or with a marketing agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and implement channel marketing strategy and programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with senior executives as well as associates internally and externally in an articulate and professional manner. 
  • Proven success leading teams and working in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
  • Familiar with CRM, marketing automation, and partner relationship management systems and tools.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Software industry experience; CX (Customer experience) software space specifically.
  • Channel sales experience with a Software ISV or Software ISV channel partner
  • Experience implementing marketing automation systems
  • Experience executing go to marketing programs with strategic alliance partners
