Director, Enterprise Sales - Melbourne/Sydney 

As a leader in customer experience solutions, Genesys is seeking a passionate and talented individual to lead a specific market in enterprise software and cloud sales.

The Director of Enterprise Sales is a hands-on leader who develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximises needs to drive revenue for the entire Genesys suite of products through managing direct sales in the Central Sales organisation in both existing and net new accounts.  

As in any global matrix, your stakeholder management skills will be highly honed in similarly complex operating environments, specifically within a technology solutions environment with solution design, advisory and deep understanding of your client’s technology and business needs.


What You’ll Do: In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Manages and develops a team of regional sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Genesys sales process
  • Supporting AE’s (Account Executive) by participating and leading in customer meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required to maximise opportunities and deliver value to our customers and prospects
  • Invests heavily in each AE’s development and opportunities serving as their key mentor
  • Develop a strong, supportive and positive team culture
  • Sells and promotes the sales of Genesys products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale
  • Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division
  • Consistently monitoring and enhancing the sales activities of the team
  • Conducting weekly revenue forecast meetings for respective territories and delivering monthly results
  • Conducts weekly progress meetings and all hands with sales team
  • Develops and executes a territory plan to maximise revenue
  • Assists in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives
  • Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met
  • Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.


What do you need to have?
  • Proven track record of consistent over achievement of quotas, targets and key metrics
  • Proven ability of sales management experience within technology industry.
  • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.
  • Be a "High Energy", results-oriented achiever and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated track record in software sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.
  • Ability to represent the company at C-Suite.
  • Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead teams of 5 or more AE's
  • Proven track record of success as an individual contributor leading and winning 7+ figure deals with net new logos
  • Travel is required to customer and business meeting sites as required
  • Bachelor’s degree
