What this role is:

You will lead Executive Communications for the EVP and General Manager of Genesys Cloud, our fastest growing business.

In this role, you will build and execute upon an executive platform, serve as a trusted adviser, and own all of their internal and external communications deliverables for this executive, who is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

You will also work closely with the VP, Executive Communications in ensuring alignment of messaging and cadence across the Genesys executive team and work well with our Executive and Internal COMM's team.  Here’s how we work:

What you’ll bring to the table:

Highest levels of professionalism (trust and confidentiality are key), executive influence skills, exceptional communication skills (strategic thinking, writing, editing, social/digital technologies); business acumen; global perspective; creativity; strong EQ and ability to collaborate. Experience in cloud, digital and AI, ideally in CX and/or SaaS. Flexible and energized by working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.


Some details about what you’ll do:

  • Manage all internal and external communications for EVP, Genesys Cloud and his leadership team
  • Create and execute upon a strategic communications plan that aligns to other technology GMs and broader Genesys executive team
  • Manage all communications deliverables, from content and messaging development to logistics, including executive organization announcements, All Hands meeting presentations, internal and external presentations, blogs, social media, videos, briefing documents, and coordinate with PR/AR/marketing for media and analyst meetings.  These deliverables include content development, messaging, and securing appropriate approvals
  • Strategic adviser to R&D executive on messaging, tone and speaker delivery
  • Extended member of executive’s Leadership Team
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to insure coordinated and consistent messaging across Genesys’ executives

Minimum requirements:

  • 15 years’ experience in a corporate communications or similar role
  • Experience in corporate “storytelling” and corporate narratives
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with an emphasis on simple and conversational style
  • Success with keynote presentations and organizational communications
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Mastery of modern communications tools: social/digital media
  • Global experience, understanding and sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Experience working with executives in large companies
  • Experience in cloud, digital and AI, ideally for CX and/or SaaS companies
  • Professional, collaborative, flexible, curious, pleasant to work with
