Job Summary:

 

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Human Resources who is an effective influencer, knowledgeable about the business, and whose impact and value is clear to the client group and HR organization alike.

The successful candidate will be able to function well in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Comfortable with ambiguous situations, they will be able to take a consultative approach to identify and implement people solutions to drive and support our business objectives. They will possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to build solid relationships based on trust. This role demands partnering closely with HR leadership, business leaders at all levels, and employees throughout the org. This role functions as a key business partner for the Product Organization, and leads other HR Partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and changing environment and have fun while getting a lot of great work done.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to the Product organization and collaborate with HR subject matter experts to execute strategy and evaluate the success of initiatives impacting business performance.
  • Understand the business and its challenges in order to help address the organization and people needs including organizational structures and team performance
  • Assist with the change process as the company meets the challenges of growth and the need to scale
  • Partner with other HR Business Partners and HR subject matter experts to ensure alignment and to create a strong, cross-functional team to solve business problems and execute on corporate-wide people initiatives
  • Consult with the business to facilitate a variety of employee interventions such as team building, select meeting facilitation (executive, strategic groups, leader assimilations), etc.
  • Improve manager capabilities through coaching and implementation of management development programs and opportunities
  • Deliver short-term solutions while also solving for long-term problems by addressing immediate challenges and underlying causes
  • Manage a high performance culture by actively coaching and mentoring direct reports, providing regular feedback and developing employees for wider roles and responsibilities to foster professional growth and development.
  • Assist in aligning HR strategy with business priorities to drive to results.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Management, Human Resource, Organizational Development or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of HR experience in a senior HR leadership role partnering with officers and executives.
  • 5 + years management experience leading and developing a team of HR Professionals.
  • Demonstrated competence in the various HR functional areas, especially employee relations, talent development, and change management.
  • Comfortable and thrive in an ambiguous, high growth, fast paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to flex styles depending on the audience.
  • Demonstrated credibility and integrity in communications to ensure information flows both upward and downward.
  • Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
  • Able to manage multiple complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently.
  • Able to comfortably move between strategic issues and day-to-day HR operations.
  • Experience building organizational and talent plans to identify and execute against future talent needs (defining skills needed for the future, succession and development plans, etc.).
  • Proven experience identifying and leading change, and building this capability in others.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Experience with M&A a plus.
