The Genesys Global Customer Education team is looking for a highly motivated Education Business Development Manager, Channel to grow the Beyond Business through multiple internal and partner channels. This role is responsible for leading and executing the Beyond global channel strategy. Education Business Development Manager, Channel directly manages Beyond sales agencies and programs to drive sales and partners while also tracking financial information related to bookings, revenue, and margins. This role reports to the Global Director. It also involves close collaboration with larger Customer Success and regional sales teams.


Responsibilities

  • Leading with the collaboration of Beyond leadership to develop, and execute the strategic channel sales plan

  • Set appropriate key performance indicators and developing guidelines to ensure accountability across sales and partner channels

  • Own plan execution across Genesys organization such as sales and customer success and external partner channels

  • Collaborate develop sales-supporting collateral that will help drive sales goals

  • Key decision maker on process and actions within the channel sales team and with channel leaders

  • Create innovative approaches thru channels and direct sales functions that will increase revenue and meet KPIs

  • Drive partner relationships with key stakeholders to increase pipeline acceleration

  • Accurately provide monthly forecasts against bookings, revenue, and margin goals.

  • Manage channel quotas

  • Ensure channel compliance


Qualifications

  • BS. In business or a related field

  • 10 + years working in a tech-centric environment

  • 8+ years working in sales

  • Strong business acumen and experience with managing quotas

  • Cross-functional experience working with internal sales, partner channels, and education

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to present complex technical topics.

  • Strong project management skills with experience gaining team consensus and driving deliverables

  • Strong organizational skills, goal-oriented & self-motivated
