The Global Marketing Automation Strategy Manager will drive the strategy for all marketing automation platforms and will be central to the alignment of our full marketing automation stack across ABM enablement, marketing data, email, paid media and content

This person will work across our global team and the fast-paced marketing teams in our 3 primary regions: Americas, EMEA and APAC. This role is critical for the creation of a global center of excellence around the delivery of innovative marketing automation programs and will support the growth of this channel. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide frequent performance analysis and regular status reports, communicate out to the team on campaign key performance indicators, and make recommendations that increase results
  • Drives the global marketing automation strategy across multiple regions, working closely with the global digital execution team, regional team leads and field marketing managers
  • Works to develop, implement and execute marketing automation strategies to support lead and opportunity goals, including continually modifying and adjusting those strategies as necessary based on results
  • Manage the strategy for core set of automation process across disparate systems including lead routing, lead scoring, data enrichment, 
  • Documents and communicates best practices for marketing automation platform including recommendations on where improvements can be made to make programs more efficient and effective
  • Manages all aspects of the delivery of automated programs across the prospect and customer lifecycle 
  • Develops business requirements with Marketing Operations team to improve technical aspects of the marketing automation function including lead scoring and lead routing
  • Continually optimize the marketing automation channel using tactics such as A/B testing and personalization, sharing the results of those activities and implementing results into the existing and future programs
  • Works closely with regional and global campaign strategy teams to map appropriate content, assets, and strategies to engage target audience personas and accounts
  • Partners with senior marketing stakeholders and regional digital leaders to develop and deliver revenue-driving marketing automation programs 
  • Creates actionable insight and understanding, through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, building recommendations that improve performance
  • Owns training approach and ongoing requirements to maintain the marketing automation corporate center of excellence

 Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of Marketing Automation platform experience in an enterprise environment
  • Past hands-on experience scaling demand generation programs including trigger-based campaign, nurture and other outbound programs across multiple marketing platforms (email, sales automation, 
  • Experience driving the strategy for complex marketing automation implementations across numerous platforms
  • Experience operating in an integrated campaign environment that includes multiple internal stakeholders and simultaneous projects
  • Experience working with Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce Pardot, or IBM Watson as a platform power-user that supports a larger group of users
  • Experience evangelizing marketing automation and email best practices to non-technical marketing teams
  • Experience working with a sales team using automation platforms such Outreach.io, SalesLoft, Close or ChiliPiper
  • Experience working with ABM execution platforms such as Engagio, Terminus, Demandbase a plus 
  • Experience working with a CDP such as Lattice Engine, Radius a plus
  • Experience working with data enrichment tools such as Clearbit, ZoomInfo, DiscoverOrg, etc
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to explain complex concepts succinctly
  • Experience working within the fast-paced environment of a global company a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Computer Science or a related field a plus
