Position Purpose

We are looking for an person who is passionate about amazing customer experiences! This role will be instrumental in driving our strategic vision in AI. This role will support and accelerate the regional adoption of Predictive Engagement and Service Automation, including voice and chat bots. This role will articulate a compelling value proposition, provide sales support, serve as subject matter expert, and represent the “voice of the customer” to Product Management.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Establish plan and exceed the regional solution sales goal.
  • Work with Global Solution team to establish selling strategy to beat the competition through better targeting, positioning, and thought leadership for AI/Predictive Engagement and Genesys in general.
  • Own and forecast the opportunities for selling the solution together other Genesys products.
    • Provide subject matter expertise in support of account teams particularly around positioning, pricing and overcoming objections.
    • Educate and support field Account Executives and Solution Engineers on opportunity qualification and positioning of the solution.
    • Provide direction to the Account Executives for account planning and implementation as it relates to driving the solutions of focus.
  • Work with the Global Solution Team, Field Marketing, Pre-Sales, Product Management and Channel Management groups to cultivate awareness, provide insight into the development of use cases, and demand and messaging for the related solution.

Required Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in direct sales and/or technical sales.
  • Has demonstrated the capability of being a proactive salesperson within the Solution area of focus and effectively delivering to sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in creating and delivering value propositions in a consultative manner that link a persona’s needs with relevant solutions.
  • Expertise of present and emerging technologies and standards in the business practices and processes related to the solution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively listen and communicate in both written and verbal formats across all levels of organization management.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish trust and credibility by effectively listening to and communicating with Account Executives, sales management, partners, and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize demands to deliver the most strategic outcome.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing outcomes outside of your direct control.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the product domains related to the solution, Web/Journey Analytics and Management, Marketing Automation, Bots and general AI and how they fit into an integrated solution.
  • General knowledge of the Genesys product offerings and capabilities
  • BS Degree in Engineering or other applicable areas
  • Excellent knowledge of the possibilities offered by Genesys technologies and ability to translate these to meet various customer agendas.
  • Extensive and demonstrated experience with the development of business opportunities for new product releases.
  • Well-developed sales or sales support expertise
  • Excellent understanding of regional market and sub regional nuances for the solution.
  • Excellent understanding of the competitive players in the marketplace for the solution.
  • The ability to help define and craft demos and vision presentations.
