The Offer Management team at Genesys is seeking a talented Offer Manager with business and technical acumen to lead the creation, delivery, and go to market success for our most important offers - what we call “Plays”.   The Offer Manager will lead the cross functional approach to identifying opportunities to and delivering offers to take advantage of such opportunities.  Its role is to drive the company’s new “plays” to market and make them successful. The Offer Management team is dedicated to managing what we bring to market as a company and ensuring the success.

The whole product typically augments the core product with additional elements required for the product to have compelling value to a customer and result in a business outcome. For example, our customers experience our ability to let them try, buy, use, and optimize the products to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction, drive revenue and decrease costs.  In doing so, customers experience our usability, security, maintainability, data management, third party technology, documentation, customer support, enablement services, 3rd Party Technology, and partners.

Offers have been created at Genesys to focus on delivering whole product to our customers that is successful in addressing an urgent need and ensure the delivery of a business outcome.  We have developed a taxonomy of Offers that focuses on various stakeholders.  To this end, we have Offers for Sales, Marketing, Service, and Technology.

The Offer Management team strives to:

  • Understand overall industry trends in customer experience and relationship management software markets.
  • Identify the top pains that potential customers are experiencing and develop solutions that cure this pain for our customers.
  • Define Plays with end-to-end Buyer Journey methods including:  Customer Imperative, Genesys Value Proposition, Addressable opportunity, and high level requirements identification.
  • Design and deliver key deliverables to drive the creation and growth of Genesys Offers in close collaboration with engineering, other product managers, sales, customers and partners bridging the business and technical worlds with your leadership, business acumen, and technical skills.  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define winning “Plays”.  Proactively seek out and identify new business and revenue opportunities.
  • Drive enablement activities and milestones to successfully deliver the “Plays”.
  • Collaborate with a matrix-oriented organization across several platforms and product categories to deliver the “Whole Offers” in the market.
  • Think creatively about ground-breaking innovations as well as enhancements to existing products at Genesys, leveraging inputs from internal innovation contests, customer ideas or market trends
  • Become the glue with the rest of the product management organization to help define and actively manage product requirements in our Aha! product roadmap system for Offers.
  • Support account teams in customer meetings by providing subject matter expertise and representing the Genesys Offer and Play teams.
  • Facilitation of leadership strategic planning activities, starting with summarizing and simplifying complex market research, competitive intelligence, and complex financial analysis
  • Think outside the box to propose audacious disruptive innovations in adjacent markets, new business models, as well as different buyers.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in the Software industry working with Software Development groups - machine learning, digital solutions, natural language and speech technologies with strong background in product and/or program management.
  • Broad business perspective with the ability to break down complex problems into organized programs and deliver success.
  • Ability to prioritize issues effectively and meet tight deadlines when required
  • Ability to work with a high performance, cross-functional team
  • Strong technical background and ability to drill into the details to determine the best solution for our customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to drill down into very tactical considerations to ensure accuracy in deliverables
  • Strong design skills
  • You are curious, self-driven, and ask the right questions
