Principal Solutions Consultant - Security

This individual will help bring innovative and creative solutions to meet our customer’s needs around security. Genesys Cloud™ is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer, Security. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will act as a product expert for our platform and keep current with security trends in the industry and create compelling business solution roadmaps.

We look for individuals who have a proven track record of finding creative ways of solving complex problems.

What You’ll Do:

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Work with sales team to create winning responses to prospect questions as well as contributing to RFPs.
  • Maintain a security questionnaire repository, ensuring it remains current.
  • Work with product and development teams to ensure new product features are included in the repository.
  • Create and deliver technical demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert to Sales.
  • Be able to articulate a clear and effective message to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You’ve been there and done this…

At Least 2 Years of experience as a Sales Engineer and possess knowledge of:

  • You will have an established sales engineering track record in business-2-business sales, including experience selling Cloud Security Fundamentals
  • A confident and articulate verbal and written communicator, who can foster strong relationships both internally and externally and has prospect and customer presentations
  • Possesses excellent prioritization skills, and expert in Sales Engineering who has the foresight to anticipate obstacles and needs
  • RFP/RFQ/Technical Writing
  • Proven experience in Cloud Security Fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of PCI, HIPAA, ISO, SOC, and other compliance initiatives
  • Demonstrates a pragmatic and commercially astute approach to decision making
  • Confirmed ability to lead a complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment

Desirable Criteria

  • Close to obtaining, or have obtained, relevant professional qualifications and memberships e.g. CISSP, CISM, GIAC
  • AWS Cloud certifications
  • Experience implementing or auditing any compliance. ISO27001, SSAE18 SOC2, FISMA, IRAP, FEDRAMP, PCI, HIPAA
