What this role is:

The Privacy Paralegal will have a range of responsibilities to help Genesys' compliance efforts as well as customer interactions. You will report to the Chief Privacy Officer.

We are looking for a thoughtful leader to work in a hands-on style providing expertise around specific privacy features.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

We are looking for someone able to lead through passion for great CX, innovation and commitment to results. Your experience with GDPR and privacy low is a key for succeed, together with your ability to communicate with all levels within customer organizations.

Your superior active listening skills will drive you to collaborate effectively alongside multiple team members, in an international and dynamic environment.

 

Some details about what you will do:

  • Assisting with customer audits and questionnaires.
  • Assisting with the completion of Data Processing Agreements.
  • Assisting with the Internal Privacy Program Management. This requires the management of several documents (privacy policies, internal processing records, copies of DPAs, vendor assessments, etc.). 
  • Responding to customer questions regarding data privacy.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of various privacy frameworks.
  • Assisting with the privacy review for new software and features 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of relevant professional experience with a software or technology company
  • Deep understanding of privacy law, GDPR in particular
  • Experience in working with a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English

Desiderable skills:

  • Bechelor ot Master Degree in Low
  • CIPP/E certification
  • Other language
