JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Job Summary: 


We are currently looking for Product Manager based in Chennai India to manage portfolio of cloud based software products to improve the experience of customers interacting with businesses.  The successful applicant will be joining a world class product team that owns the vision, definition and day-to-day management of innovative products used by millions across the world every day.

 

What You’ll Do


The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Own the product relationship with Sales, Customers and Partners
  • Work with account teams (direct or partner) to drive the product strategy with the right capabilities.
  • Help customers understand the long-term vision and strategy for Genesys relative to their own business goals
  • Actively listen and query customers, analysts and account teams on market observations then distil and drive salient requirements
  • Direct the resolution of complex customer issues
  • Manage customer requests for new or enhanced feature functionality
  • Collaborate internally with Sales Training, Marketing and Engineering
  • Help sales training and marketing develop content that reflects the alignment of the product vision, benefits and customer needs
  • Demonstrate product features and values of the product to customers
  • Ensure that business goals are aligned with technology objectives and deliver on defined market needs
  • Define the product vision with attainable and significant short and long term goals
  • Continue our recognized leadership in delivering innovative business solutions
  • Maintain roadmaps that are regularly aligned with corporate goals

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent related experience. MBA preferred.
  • Understanding of the Agile Development Processes and Enterprise Processes.
  • 10 years prior experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager (preferably in an agile environment).
  • Knowledge of contact center technology is preferred.
  • Experience on CRMs (SAP, Oracle, SFDC, MS Dynamics or ServiceNow), Agent Desktop and Cloud (SaaS) is preferred
  • Experience defining pricing/packaging models, building sales tools, product marketing collateral and strategic communication of product capabilities to customers, partners, upper management and analysts.
  • Experience with a structured product development methodology. Agile/SCRUM experience is a plus
  • Good communicator and eager learner.
  • Ability to provide T-Shirt sizing (S, M, L) estimation of software development work.
  • Ability to understand technology trends and their impact to product road-map.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
