We have an exciting role for a Professional Services Executive to join our UKI team. The role is remote based with some visits to our Frimley Head Office.

A Professional Services Executive (aka Client Services Director) is responsible for the creation of Professional Services offers to our customers, to generate revenue and achieve Professional Services sales objectives. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can recognise opportunities, along with the commercial experience to successfully negotiate and close deals.

The role is responsible for defining & implementing Professional Services business, identifying new business opportunities, creating and maintaining key relationships, negotiating and closing business deals and providing leadership within the Professional Services organisation. This position will have quarterly financial targets (bookings and project profitability) in order for the organisation to attain projected revenue and build consulting services backlog; and provides the opportunity to earn significant bonus payments.

The role would suit someone with a broad services knowledge, while the role is not a Technical one, a good understanding of Contact Centre business or SaaS is required, ideally including experience of Cloud based solutions.



The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

Align with Account Executives and other Sales leadership as a member of the Genesys pursuit teams

Pursue Professional Services sales leads and prospective clients

Network and develop strong business relationships. Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for Professional Services

Initiate and build client relationships, delivering presentations and proposals

Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions & customer buying strategies in order to negotiate and close business deals

Work closely with the Project Managers already active in assigned accounts

Generate pipeline of services orders to attain financial objectives

Build strong relationships with the key partners of Genesys

Creation of offer documentation, and associated reporting

Travel up to 25% to customers to deliver presentations or participate in requirements gathering/definition



Degree qualified in computer technology, or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional technical experience.

8+ years in a business setting with at least five years of experience in customer-facing sales within a business solutions telecommunications environment

Role would also suit an experienced project/programme manager wishing to move into a more commercially focused role.

Ability to work effectively both individually and with a team

Strong leadership, interpersonal and presentation proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven success in sales - lead generation, and relationship management.

Able to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations

UK based possessing excellent English language skills

Capable of accurate working, often to tight deadlines, and handling multiple simultaneous requests, prioritising the workload to suit.

Excellent MS Office skills & Salesforce CRM experience

Commercial or legal documentation creation

Good understanding of accounting concepts related to P&L and balance sheet

Demonstrated sophisticated skills in business modelling and valuation

Experience in conducting and coordinating financial and legal due diligence
