The PureCloud Strategic Sales Specialist provides technical and sales expertise to Genesys Channel Managers, Telco Partners, Strategic Sls and Strategic Customers. 

This individual will assist Genesys in achieving and exceeding their agreed EMEA PureCloud booking targets as well as owning the EMEA PureCloud strategic sales initiatives/projects as per the EMEA sales management direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with and alongside channel managers to drive telco and strategic partner (Existing and prospect) PureCloud business development
  • Named telco and strategic partners PureCloud commercialisation, onboardings and end-to-end enablement.
  • Named telco and strategic partners PureCloud pre-sales support for first 12-18 months of relationship.
  • Enabling internal Genesys sales/presales resources on PureCloud portfolio.
  • Driving success for PureCloud business in EMEA by owning strategic Cloud projects (e.g. assuring SMART PureCloud methodology success within telco partners/Strategic SIs, BYOC Cloud success etc).
  • Continually assess ways in which to optimize success of PureCloud solution both within assigned Telco accounts.
  • Interface with PureCloud BU to ensure consistent standards and approach for the success of PureCloud solutions within EMEA region.
  • Ensure the technical co- operation between Genesys departments in supporting the assigned partners & channel managers.
  • Provide Genesys Management with timely sales/customer information.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Standards and Processes.
  • To assist Genesys in achieving and exceeding their agreed EMEA PureCloud booking targets

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in both French and English
  • Experience in technically supporting the sale of high value products and services in all markets, but specifically the Telecommunications Market.
  • Experience in supporting the end user and channel environment.
  • Presales/Professional Services/Consulting experience and knowledge of PureCloud solution & related technologies is a must requirement.
  • Good interpersonal skills at all levels, good German & English communication ability; both verbally and in writing.
  • An understanding of business procedures for indirect business e.g. channel management, technical escalation, change control, work flow management, project/program management.
  • Ability for analytical assessment and technical compliance of partners/customer needs.
  • Creativity during the sales process while demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in the preparation of proposals, tenders and processes.
  • Value the input of others and regularly seek input from your peers and managers, above all demonstrate that you can ensure the expectations of the Channel.
  • Ensure that Partner, Customer and Genesys expectations are set correctly at all times and where possible exceeded.
