Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist - Genesys University

Department & Team: Genesys University   

Reports to: Genesys University Program Manager

Location: Indianapolis   


This individual will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of educational assets created by our organization and delivered to a world-wide customer base.  The QA Specialist role is critical in providing quality oversight and coordination of all QA activities across multiple teams of different disciplines.


Working independently but in collaboration with other stakeholders, the QA Specialist will lead cross-functional discussions to identify and correct areas needing improvement. Rather than simply monitoring compliance to processes and practices, a great deal of focus is placed on this position to assess whether required outcomes are being properly achieved. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in reviewing various types of content and ensuring projects meet organizational standards. #LI-AP1




  • Assure correctness and functionality of deliverables (e.g., instructor and virtual led e-learning modules and courses)
  • Review educational content for adherence to business requirements, standards, and defined styles
  • Copyedit course materials for quality and stylistic consistency
  • Oversee the process development, implementation, and completion of inspection activities
  • Ensure quality is integrated into all facets of the organization
  • Act as a liaison between Product management, Design, and Delivery teams
  • Perform quality review of content that includes verifying spelling, grammar, and technical accuracy
  • When issues are identified, work with management to develop appropriate corrective actions
  • Work towards constant continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures
  • Help define, create, and generate quality reports for the organization
  • Be proactive, comfortable working with both minimal and detailed specifications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five (5) years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven experience in reviewing requirements, specifications, documentation and applying QA best practices
  • Deadline-driven with excellent organizational and management skills
  • Ability to self-manage multiple development projects and deadlines
