Reporting and Analytics Specialist (People Analytics) will report to the VP, Talent Acquisition, and People Analytics. The role is responsible for delivering talent insights as well as building and fostering a culture of self-service analytics in Genesys. You will work closely with Genesys IT department to manage automation of talent data coming from various HR systems into the data warehouse, ensuring its validity, integrity, and timeliness. Given this, the role requires both good command of data analytics, technologies, and project management.


This position is critical to the overall HR function and will allow us to scale our operations as we continue the Genesys mission, to power the world’s best customer experiences. As part of the People Analytics team, the Reporting and Analytics Specialist will be responsible for building scalable, agile, and seamless talent data infrastructure that is integral to the successful implementation of the Global HR Strategy at Genesys.

 

Responsibilities / Job Duties:

  • Define the scopes for bringing necessary data from various IT systems into the data warehouse and collaborate with the HR IT team on managing the integration processes.

  • Evaluate data availability, validity, and integrity, as well as initiate projects for establishing easy and transparent access to the unavailable data from Genesys date warehouse.

  • Develop, implement, and support self-service analytics for talent data through verifying data sources, providing the definitions for data fields, and providing necessary training to various stakeholders in Genesys ensuring unbiased common understanding for data interpretation.

  • Create, maintain, and report on people-related metrics, KPI’s and goals that are aligned to Genesys objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, with a demonstrated experience in talent analytics

  • Strong command and experience with Excel, Tableau, SQL

  • Experience managing projects aimed at integrating various data sources into the data warehouse

  • Experience generating insight based on sparsely distributed data sources and communicating the findings to broad audiences and stakeholders

  • A self-starter approach and flexible work style, comfortable with the fast-paced and ever-changing business environment, thriving in ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated HRIS knowledge, especially around Oracle HCM and Taleo

  • Snowflake experience

  • Python / KNIME experience.
