Are you a proven enterprise software sales professional experienced in driving revenue growth from net new business prospects and current customers?  As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, you will bring innovative, market leading solutions to some of the largest companies where you will create and nurture the strategic relationships.

We are looking for an experienced enterprise software account executive to join our Strategic, Retail-Vertical Sales Team focused on the largest Retailers and E-commerce companies in the US.  For years now the Retail industry around us has been going through an industry-wide transformation.  Whether due to the “Amazon Effect”, changes in buyer preferences or Covid-19 as a recent tipping point - large retailers are significantly accelerating digital transformation initiatives by >5x, with a focus on e-commerce and digital engagement of customers and their markets.  With a shift from in-store interactions with customers to online, having the right digital Customer Experience (CX) strategy has never been more critical.  Whether customers engage via the web, over text, social, phone or in-person - knowing who those customers are, their history and preferences is imperative.  We all like to feel “known” by who we do business with or purchase from.  The Genesys, Customer Experience platform enables a customer-first view and engagement strategy.

What do you need to have?

  • Proven experience accessing and developing relationships with business stakeholders and teams (Chief Digital Officers, Chief Operations Officers, Customer Officers, Experience, Sales…etc) in addition to IT.
  • Proven experience identifying and understanding customer problems and being able to align solutions to drive a recognized need, initiative, budget and timeline to solve
  • Proven experience communicating, negotiating, and closing with executives and stakeholders
  • Proven experience as a new business hunter and accomplished customer account manager
  • 7+ years of large enterprise sales experience (Cloud or SaaS based software sales preferred)
  • Confirmed ability to lead complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work-related work experience
  • Ability to travel

Covid-19

Safety for our employees and our communities is a key priority for Genesys. We continue to experience rapid growth during the Covid-19 pandemic and are conducting remote hiring and onboarding processes.
