Job Summary:


Be instrumental in driving strategy, planning and analysis for Dynamic Deal Scoring and the Deal Desk

We are looking for a driven and accomplished strategy and operations professional with a proven track record of delivering results who is looking to grow their career by leading a key initiative related to deal pricing strategy.  Genesys has a robust Deal Desk which is enabled by data analytics and automation, and offers a fun, fast-paced environment with great opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.  Ideal candidates will have at least 4-5 years of consulting and/or analytical experience in the technology or software industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead key initiatives related to leveraging data to drive improvements in Deal Desk engagement with the business, currently focused on “Dynamic Deal Scoring”

Work collaboratively across functional teams to drive the execution of strategic imperatives related to pricing and discounting

Become a trusted partner to the Head of the Deal Desk and provide decision support for key Deal Desk initiatives

Leverage data to provide greater insight into areas of improvement (with the Deal Desk) and enhance engagement with other functions (Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Revenue, Billing, Product Management, etc.)

Identify and implement process and system improvements through an understanding of data flows and leveraging technology solutions

Prepare periodic ad hoc reports to showcase improvements and estimated financial impact delivered

Minimum Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Analytics, or Operations.  MBA or equivalent qualification preferred

At least four years of consulting (or similar) work experience.  Experience within SaaS/Cloud industry a plus

Systems and data visualization experience (Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, SQL, etc.)
