The Senior Compensation Partner will be a key member of Genesys’ Total Rewards team, ensuring the success of the function and striving for continuous improvement. This Senior Compensation Partner will provide excellent client facing compensation support and will be key to the design and implantation of the company’s reward programs. You will be responsible for providing compensation analysis, benchmarking, data modeling, reporting, and problem-solving in support of our corporate compensation programs.  A keen attention to detail as well as the ability to interpret complex data and draw conclusions is crucial. This individual must have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, handle sensitive information, make sound business decisions, influence business leaders, manage details, and deliver results in a fast paced and collaborative environment.   

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR Business partners as a problem solver, providing guidance to the business and develop creative solutions for a variety of compensation issues including base pay, annual incentive, and equity compensation
  • Perform analysis on the effectiveness and competitiveness of comp programs, and model potential impact of alternative
  • Design, develop, and maintain total compensation guidelines and job architecture structures
  • Lead end-to-end global compensation planning processes
  • Leverage advanced compensation planning technology, leading development and implementation of Compensation related tools
  • Use strong communication and analytical skills to drive understanding of compensation philosophies, practices and administration among leaders and managers and assist in cascading to all levels of the organization
  • Work collaboratively to drive and manage global projects across multiple functions and client groups, utilizing subject matter expertise and knowledge of both internal and external business practices
  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the overall business and how competitive compensation programs enable the execution of the company priorities

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant demonstrated professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation theory, principles, and practices and in-depth knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to compensation such as FLSA, ADA, Wage and Hours, etc
  • Proven compensation modeling skills and ability to communicate persuasively with business partners to resolve highly complex problems
  • Strong working knowledge of technology solutions, including automated tools and familiarity with HRMS systems
  • Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology and business processes implications
  •  Experience with international compensation practices
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high client expectations
  • Strong team orientation with a collaborative style
  • Broad knowledge of federal, state and local regulatory environments

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong sales compensation, equity administration and/or exec comp experience are all pluses
  • Strong working knowledge of HR Oracle, Workforce Compensation and MarketPay is a plus
