The Who, What, Where and Why

The North American Strategic Solutions Team at Genesys is seeking a Manager for the Workforce Engagement Solution Lead team. This team provides sales experts for Workforce Engagement (WFM/WFO, Decisions long range planning, Performance DNA and Interaction Analytics) in North America. This person will be a key leader, bringing in new business with a focus on the SAAS enterprise customer segment. They will be expected business discussions with perspective and current customers.  This role will help set the strategy and business direction for the Genesys Workforce Engagement solution, while also coaching and enabling a team of sales overlay specialists.  This role will work closely with the North American Sales and Sales Engineering as well as the Product Management team for Workforce engagement. This position is critical to ensuring the continued success of our Workforce Engagement Solution and will carry quota for this solution.

 

Who?

Genesys is looking for a candidate with a demonstrated track record of customer-facing sales leadership in Customer Experience solutions. We seek someone with:

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role selling Customer Experience solutions
  • Strong team leadership ability is required, with several years prior experience as a direct manager of teams is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with strategic planning and setting strategies for Sales teams.
  • Comfortable making decisions and operating with a fair amount of autonomy.
  • Experience in selling Work Force Engagement Management, (Genesys, Nice, Aspect, Verint) 
  • Experience selling SAAS solutions
  • Hands on approach to problem solving. Always ready to work opportunities directly alongside your team when needed.
  • Ability and desire to coach both Sales Engineers and Account Executives
  • Experience with CRM and/or BPM business solutions
  • A clear communicator and great listener. Confident influencing and engaging with a highly skilled and experienced audience including C-level executives.
  • Typically, 25% travel.

As Solution Lead Manager, you will:

  • Partner with the AE and SE sales leaders to set our strategy for finding, closing and supporting new opportunities.
  • Retain, develop, and motivate a 5-7 person team of high-performing Solution Leads, continually educating your team and seeking innovative solutions for improving your team
  • Measure and communicate results – use data to communicate results and make decisions.
  • Ensure that your team has the support that they need to be successful
  • Engage with the Product Management and Support to ensure we are meeting customer expectations and delivering business value.

It is critical that Genesys differentiate itself from other provides in the CX market.  This requires a deep understanding of our customer’s needs and aspirations.   Workforce Engagement is a critical piece of the solution Genesys offers.  This is often the most critical part of the solution for our customers as it directly impacts their single biggest cost, their staff.  The Enterprise Sales teams can talk to this solution at a high level, however a detailed business discussion is often critical to the sale.  Genesys needs to show that we are experts in this area and can provide not only software solutions but business guidance to our prospects and customers.

 

 

Where?

This position allows a virtual office anywhere in North America with reasonable access for air travel.  We have offices in several locations including, Daly City CA, Raleigh NC, Indianapolis IN.  If you happen to live near one of our offices and would prefer you may work out of one of these offices.
