Job Summary:

The Software Engineer works with their team and management to design and build enterprise software solutions. Outside-the-box thinking and prototyping are balanced with full SDLC engagement to meet business objectives quickly and effectively.  The Software Engineer must frequently adapt to work on new and existing projects in a stimulating and collaborative environment to ensure successful delivery of solutions.  

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Web and Application Product Development / Programming (C# .NET, JavaScript).
  • Software Solution Design (Engineering full solutions to meet demands of changing business objectives).
  • User Experience and Interface Design (Elegant layout for intuitive and efficient use).
  • Continuous improvement of product architecture and user experience.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Rapid Prototyping.
  • Peer Design, Code, and Functionality Review.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent program.
  • 2-5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Expertise with C# or Java.
  • Expertise with web coding languages, libraries, and platforms such as JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Knockout, Angular, others.
  • Expertise with code repository technologies such as Git.
  • Proficiency in Object Oriented design and practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in system administration considered a plus.
  • Ability to consistently research and relay modern methods and products to the team.
  • Complex problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure DevOps is a plus.
