Summary:  

 

We are looking for a smart leader for our Competitive Intelligence team who has a love for market strategy and evolving a high-paced, high-performing team. 

 

Ultimately, your mission is this: help us win. Lead a small but stealth team responsible for gathering and analyzing loads of competitive data to distill into actionable insights and memorable messages for marketing and sales.  You’ll use all this intel to drive winning sales plays, marketing campaigns and product strategies.  

 

You’re a marketing professional with a reputation for delivering simple and compelling insights with urgency and integrity. You have a love for people, a brain for analysis, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.

YOUR FUTURE DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the competitive intelligence strategy. Create, refine and deliver on our competitive intelligence strategy — for agility, focus, integrity and scale  
  • Measure and optimize. Help teams understand the impact of our analysis. Identify patterns and share insights so we can quickly make data-driven decisions  
  • Collaborate across teams. Work with our partners in marketing, sales, product, business development, partners, services, industry analysts, consultants and more to understand our place in the market to communicate our competitive edge 
  • Lead well.  Listen actively.  Use empathy.  Coach for results.  Have your team’s back 
  • Craft and coach for clear stories. Put your communication chops to work. Coach for compelling clarity and lead by example    

YOU CAN CHECK OFF THESE REQUIREMENTS BOXES 

  • 5+ years of experience (competitive intelligence/market strategy/product marketing) 
  • Strong data analysis skills and process thinking 
  • Great communication skills to bring actionable insights to life 
  • Superb people skills in leading high-performing teams  
  • Bachelors in business, communications, marketing or equivalent 
  • Eagerness to excel in a fun, ever-changing work environment 
  • Willing to travel 15%
