Are you an accomplished HR Professional that is interested in working for a 5000+ employee global software company, with a talented HR team, that develops and delivers complex people related solutions to drive the company’s strategy forward? If so, this is the role for you.

What this role is:

In this role you will partner with and support the Senior Executive Leaders in our Corporate functions (Finance, Strategy, Procurement, Facilities, IT, HR, and Legal). These business groups have multiple complexities and strategic needs. You will work closely with the business as they transform, grow, and evolve their team with our scaling business needs.  Specifically, you will have the opportunity to drive the end-to-end people strategy and lead the delivery. You’ll report to the VP, Human Resources.

 

What this role isn’t:

This isn’t an HR police role. It’s also not a “manage and don’t do” role. We are looking for a thoughtful leader and strategic partner to work in a hands-on style addressing very real business issues related to employee engagement and our functional people strategy. You will work directly with our business leaders as they plan and develop workforce strategies, ensuring engagement, all while navigating scale for an agile and quickly evolving Cloud company. You will work in a highly-matrixed environment including the global units within HR to implement business strategy for recruiting, workforce planning, employee engagement, and much more!

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

We are looking for someone with a true global perspective – although US headquartered, we have more employees internationally than domestically. You must have international human resources experience, be technically adept at your craft, and possess fantastic people skills as we need someone to lead, listen and partner, consider the issues at hand, and connect the dots at scale. 

 

Some details about what you’ll do:

  • Partner with business groups to communicate and execute the human resources philosophy, vision, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand their business and talent challenges
  • Work as part of a dynamic HR organization and partner with your peers to create best in class solutions to meet the needs of the business teams
  • Develop creative industry leading people solutions to global problems
  • Drive employee engagement activities through periods of significant change
  • Coach leaders and your team through challenges
  • Various other tasks as required.

Minimum requirements:

  • You should have a degree or two. But we value experience more. A lot of it. You will need at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior public company experience is a plus – those people know how to dot the i and cross the t!.
  • Advanced analytical skills, mastery of Excel and PowerPoint, and HR information systems.
  • Experience with a fast-paced organization. 
  • Experience effectively managed teams, preferably in a matrixed environment.
  • You must be a good communicator, partner, influencer at all levels in the organization, including senior leaders as well as having a commitment to customer service. People who are difficult to work with or just want to do their own thing don’t do well here.
  • Experience with M&A due diligence and integration is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to key Genesys offices as needed. (when safe to do so)
  • Personable, sense of humor, and pleasant to work with.
