What this role is:

You will work on a team, supporting the people and human resources strategies for senior leaders, to enhance our ability to attract, retain and engage. This is a key role, with a focus on driving people strategy from end-to-end. You’ll report to the EMEA Vice President, Human Resources, being focus on UK and offices

As a company, we have launched “Experience as a Service” in the market. This is an innovative strategy to accelerate Genesys cloud adoption, supporting our installed-base with innovative cloud delivery. In this role, you will partner with business groups and leaders to support our Go-To-Market organization:  Customer Success, Marketing, Professional Services and Sales. Also, you will be in the front line with Genesys Cloud and MultiCloud Solutionsand our G&A functions: Finance, Facilities, IT, HR, and Legal. These business groups have multiple complexities and strategic needs. You will work closely with them, contributing to their transformation, growing, and evolution, scaling business needs.


What this role isn’t:

This isn’t an HR police or admin role. We are looking for a thoughtful Sr. Human Resources Manager to address business needs related to employee people strategy and engagement with senior leaders. You will work directly and hands on to execute workforce strategies, ensuring engagement, all while navigating scale for an agile and quickly evolving Cloud company. You will work in a highly matrixed environment including the global units within HR to implement the business strategy for recruiting, workforce planning, employee engagement and much more!


What you’ll bring to the table:

The Senior Human Resources Manager UK provides both strategic and tactical human resources leadership, to support and meet the needs of the business. You will develop HR strategies and implement HR practices in support of organizational advancement. In this key role, you will enable the organization to pursue its mission and vision. Partnering with the leadership team, you will be responsible for creating, developing and executing programs to generate efficient, effective, creative and committed results.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing direction and counselling to Senior Leaders and Managers in all the disciplines of Human Resources: recruitment & selection, compensation, organizational development, learning & development, performance management, coaching employee relations and compensation, building trust and vision.
  • Lead in the development of content, policies and training in support of HR processes and manage benefit and immigration requirements
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand their business and talent challenges
  • Provides truly hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the employees to ensure a high level of both “Employee Engagement” and “Diversity and Inclusion”
  • Take part in the responsibility for creating a great place to work. Through organization development, continuous improvement, employee engagement and cultural initiatives that help lead the business to long-term excellence
  • Contributes to the development of the overall direction and people strategy
  • Works in liaison with the Talent Acquisition Team in creating requisitions, interviewing and extending employment offers to identified candidates
  • Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence appropriately
  • Develops, implements and ensures consistent application of HR strategies, guidelines, and programs
  • Maintains current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding human resources and ensures compliance with all Legal Employment requirements
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, responsibility and fulfilment of commitments
  • Get involved in special projects as required


Requirements/skills preferred:

  • 10+ years’ relevant, broad EMEA HR experience with 5+ years at a manager level
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies
  • Ability to provide vision and leadership
  • Experience leading change and transformation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong collaboration and teamwork attitude; effective positive persuasion and influencing ability
  • Analytical, reporting (HRIS) and attention to detail skills
  • Experience within a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and promote the linkage between business, operational priorities and human resources activities 
  • Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of current UK employment laws and regulations 
  • Demonstrated usage of change management techniques in a business setting with a focus on growth via organic and Acquisition
  • Strong organizational re-design capabilities
  • Strong bias for action and a keen sense of urgency 


Preferred Skills

  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in a related field
  • Experienced within the Technological Industry, Could and SaaS arena
