Sr. Manager, Channel Sales - Australia

You will be responsible for working with Telecom Service Provider (Telcos) Partners across Australia/ANZ region. This is an exciting opportunity to scale our business with Telco’s in Australia and in the ANZ region.

This would require someone who can develop and execute a winning and scalable Telco go-to-market strategy.

What You’ll Do:

The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to).

This role is a high visibility role, with a focus on sales execution through the Telco Partner community in Australia/ANZ.

  • To execute on Genesys’ Telco sales strategy in Australia as part of the overall ANZ go-to-market (GTM).
  • Grow the Genesys business by recruiting and aligning with the Telco’s channel Partner ecosystem Execute on the Telco sales strategy in Australia
  • Scale the Genesys Cloud sell-through business with Telcos in Australia
  • Partner with the Telco’s Product team and key cross-functional teams (Sales/pre-sales and Delivery) and assist Telcos with Service Creation
  • Collaborate with Telco’s on Demand Generation and account mapping activities.
  • Work with Genesys solution consulting (SC) and business consulting (BC) team on enablement across all the key functions (Sales, pre-sales, Services and Support).
  • Drive local initiatives by leverage each other’ partner ecosystem (MSFT, Zoom, etc.)
  • Adhoc duties as required by your manager Recruit and align with the Telco’ channel Partner with an objective to drive Genesys sales in Australia / ANZ region.
  • Establish a Genesys Cloud execution plan with Partners and execute via a structured channel cadence
  • Partner enablement leading to joint engagement in the field.
  • Provide Genesys Cloud subject matter expertise and work closely with the Partner community in Australia
  • Work with the Partner success manager to drive Genesys Cloud adoption

You’ve been there and done this...

Industry Experience and Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience within a software/solutions environment.
  • Experience managing Telcos and familiarity with Cloud GTM.
  • Candidates who have developed Joint offers with Telcos would be preferred
  • Inquisitive and persistent: always looking for a new way to do things. Asking the tough questions, question the status quo – expertise to see the “big picture”.
  • Familiarity with the CX business/Collaboration space is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Self-starter and able to work independently, as well as collaborate for the benefit of the team
  • Able to travel as needed.
