Position Purpose

Genesys delivers Cloud Customer Experience and Contact Center solutions to help businesses providing seamless service while improving customers and employee engagement. It helps businesses use the cloud, AI and digital technologies to deliver empathy-centered customer.

Genesys is defining the next level of this kind of solutions by enabling the Experience As A Service paradigm: in such market leading position, the role of the Strategic Alliances are critical and the role of the Strategic Alliance Partner Manager is key to grow business, create innovation, improve market adoption and together deliver success to joint Customers. Main Alliances for Genesys include: Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon and the BIG 4 Consulting Firms.

 

Key responsibility

Orchestrate Sales, Enablement and Marketing dimensions with the specific Alliance, to define a joint collaboration model aiming to deliver business value to our joint Clients. A strong governance activity, to monitor and tune the full process, is also critical. Management of multi-cultural | multi-countries environment will be required.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the success of selected Strategic Alliances in Spanish LATAM.
  • Define joint Alliance plans and manage the strategic regional relationships to originate and drive revenue opportunities for all parties.
  • Develop Go to Market (GTM) programs by understanding the business drivers of a win-win model.
  • Create strategic business development plan for target markets/industries in line with Genesys strategic direction.
  • Drive enablement plans to scale up the Genesys strategic role in the CX area.
  • Drive internal alignment in the spirit of One Genesys: executive sales alignment, product team alignment, marketing support, channel relationships.
  • Define strategy and planning in alignment with Genesys Alliances global team.
  • Establish and grow business and technical relationships.
  • Building a trusted network of key stakeholders and govern the power map.
  • Managing the day-to-day interactions.
  • Drive revenue growth and track progress.
  • Enable deep partner engagement and overall market adoption.
  • Prepare and give regular alliance reviews to the management team.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations involving legal, marketing, and business terms.
  • Drive evangelization aiming to unlock new market opportunities.
  • Responsible for a defined sales quotas on an annual basis

Skills / Experience

  • Business background to engage at an executive level.
  • Sales background to easily interact with enterprise sales executives and channels.
  • Preferred Alliance experience.
  • Ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges, with the ability to build
    compelling Go-To-Market plans.
  • Ability to think and work creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy between the Alliance Partner, Genesys and our customers
  • Understanding of key strengths and challenges of the “As A Service” model.
  • Experience in management of multi-cultural | multi-countries environment.
  • Understanding of technology evolution | market trends.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels and ability to work well with other organizations in a multi-cultural team environment.
  • Ability to balance between long term and short-term plans and understanding of the balance between strategic and opportunistic objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate seniority under pressure and ambiguity
  • Strong change management attitude and skills.
  • Flexibility in working schedule.
  • Based in any Spanish LATAM country with flexibility for travelling within Spanish LATAM.
  • 8+ years of business development experience in the software/technology industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Covid-19

Safety for our employees and our communities is a key priority for Genesys. We continue to experience rapid growth during the Covid-19 pandemic and are conducting remote hiring and onboarding processes. All hiring and onboarding processes are being conducted remotely at this time. We utilize Zoom video meetings and phone calls during the interview process. We will be working remotely through at least June 30, 2021, in most locations, and we are re-evaluating the opening date of all the Genesys offices on an ongoing basis.
