 What this role is:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are driving our administrative work within our Talent Acquisition function. You are the primary person working with recruiters to share information about Genesys with candidates and engage with perspective hires. You are committed to driving more diverse talent to the Talent Acquisition Partners. You are the central hub for the Talent Acquisition team in the Americas, working with our Talent Acquisition Partners, managers and candidates to make sure the process is as smooth as possible. As a global company, we have team members that you’ll need to work with in all different parts of the world.

 

What this role isn’t:

 This isn’t a traditional recruiter job. This role requires you to understand the recruitment process, but you will be focused on administrative work and scheduling, helping to source talent, maintain communication and helping to ensure our funnel is strong.

  

What you’ll bring to the table:

 

To be successful in this role it requires a high level of passion for technology, diversity and supporting a large team of recruiters helping them hire top talent. You will need to put yourself in the shoes of a candidate and share your knowledge about Genesys. As you can imagine this role has a lot of moving parts. You will work well under pressure and drive results.

 

Some details about what you’ll do:

  • Search LinkedIn, Taleo, and other tools to tap into new talent. Review our resume databases to help the team build and maintain a strong and diverse pipeline of candidates
  • Schedule phone, Zoom, and in-person (once we are back in the office) interviews and meetings
  • Provide tours
  • Prepare swag for all upcoming events and organize all recruiting events from preparation to the day of the event
  • Own all communication regarding our employee referral program
  • Be resourceful, help the Talent Partners with all aspects of recruiting. Be willing to jump in and help as needed
  • Share our “Jobs of the Week” email to auditing our careers site and job descriptions

 

Requirements:

  • You will need to be detail-oriented and be able to manage many tasks at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • An excellent communicator that has a strong approach to helping others with a staff across two regions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office products
  • One year of experience sourcing passive talent, talent coordination, building LinkedIn projects and/or recruiting as well as building diverse pipelines is highly desirable
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks as they come up and support a large talent team
