Talent Acquisition Manager – Chennai

You will oversee the development of strategic sourcing strategies across multiple business functions, drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest levels of compliance and confidentiality.

You will liaise with Stakeholders and your Region Talent Lead to understand current and future needs and lead the team accordingly. Reporting to the APAC Talent Lead, the successful candidate will have full oversight of the day-to-day activities of the Talent Acquisition team in India and be accountable for the subsequent recruitment outcomes.

This role will include significant project involvement as we build our talent acquisition capability and employer brand in the market.

What You’ll Do: In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Creating the most appropriate recruitment strategy for every role by providing sourcing and selection solutions via job careers page and portals, social networks and groups, employer branding, employee referral program and internal job movement etc.
  • Support a diverse and inclusive culture and workforce, to ensure compliance with country laws, regulations and company policies.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the TA Partner(s) in the region, by identify their strengths and assign responsibilities accordingly. Define and track their responsibilities which will be aligned to the individual's career goals and organisation's goals.
  • Accountable for delivery of talent across India in partnership with the Regional TA Partner(s) and Stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain assessment tools based on required skills for each role and organisation values (In line with the hiring needs) to ensure hiring decision is majorly data driven
  • Focus on establishing talent market expertise including comprehensive view of the industry trends and competitors; provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, and an understanding of talent needs.
  • Consultative partnership with TA partner in identification and prioritization of current and future pivotal/core sourcing needs/market Intelligence and the deployment of regional sourcing Plan
  • Should be able to build a great candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Embed actions to drive diversity into external sourcing in alignment with Global Diversity program.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service.
  • Builds Relationships with Agencies and staffing firms and builds partnerships and manage the procurement and measurement process.
  • Translate new ideas into projects to be implemented locally and/or globally.
  • Develop and plan appropriate internal and external events to build pipeline and build employer branding
  • Manage and coordinate campus/graduate recruitment programs

What You Can Bring to Genesys

  • 10+ years of experience in technical recruitment.
  • Ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for finding the best talent and is someone that thrives in an active and challenging environment.
  • Good understanding of software technologies and current trends in IT. (Mainly into SAAS or Cloud based product organization)
  • Past experience with a global software development company is a huge plus
  • Experience managing multiple senior level internal stakeholders and multiple priorities at a time in a challenging and fast paced environment.
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as complete individual projects.
  • Professional writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information, and exercise good judgement and discretion in handling and disseminating information
  • Influencing and negotiation skills. Problem solving and resource management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of computerised office systems (ATS - Applicant Tracking System) internet and software is required.
