Job Description

The Recruiter is a talent professional that is viewed as a partner and has strong knowledge of their talent segment. You will be responsible for managing and supporting the entire recruiting process for all assigned roles. You will be focused on internal customer satisfaction by building strong business relationships and driving an top candidate experience. Works closely to execute strong hiring plans and follow a process that attracts and hires top talent to take Genesys to the next level.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners and Finance Business Partners to understand hiring objectives and execute proactive recruiting strategies to accomplish aggressive hiring initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated a proactive versus reactive recruiting approach.
  • Responsible for the execution of sourcing strategies with ability to work in multiple business units and/or be a strong and highly-valued partner. 
  • Prepares for the future by pipelining talent, utilizing evergreen requisitions and reaching out to passive talent. Interacts with Hiring Managers on a regular basis keeping them informed on progress and challenges.
  • Meets established service levels (SLA’s) to maintain excellent client value add and demonstrates strong recruiting standards and methods.
  • Creates a best-in-class candidate experience with very good candidate surveys and positive hiring team feedback. 
  • Provides guidance and support on refining job descriptions to target and hire accurate profiles.
  • Functions as the strong voice adding value throughout the process and knows where to search for passive talent. Fluent on profiles, competitors and technology industry.
  • Collaborates easily with their HR/Finance Business Partners and Regional Talent Lead to  provide information on the market trends and salaries.
  • Communicates well with candidates to outline elevator pitch, benefits and the advantages of joining Genesys. 
  • Manages the process with candidates and hiring managers following talent guidelines and SLA targets. A trusted adviser where Business Leaders will consult with their Senior on various Talent topics.
  • Builds passive and pipelines by using a variety of social sources. Proactive individual with a passion for making strong hires and pulling talent over the line. 
  • Identifies and qualifies candidates via phone screens, video and in-person interviews. Summarizes interview feedback with a professional submittal and recommends next steps for candidates. Provides a strong pool of highly-qualified and diverse candidates.
  • Encourages employee referrals.
  • Assists on projects and adds value to the projects owning some of the work and research.
  • Communicates with Hiring Managers and owns their desk understanding each vacancy. Uses Dashboards in Taleo and the ATS to stay on track.
  • Understands the power of socializing jobs and works to engage hiring teams to spread the word and add value to the process.
  • Recognizes Taleo is our system of record and ensures it is used daily to follow all talent activity.


Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience with knowledge in sourcing and recruiting highly passive candidates. 
  • Viewed as a strong partner by the Business Leaders. 
  • Proven experience educating, supporting and influencing hiring managers regarding best practices in the recruiting process, interviewing and selection.
  • Strong presence on LinkedIn and various social media sites.
  • Excellent SLA results with supporting data that demonstrates strong funnels and owning your desk.
  • Solid experience using prior Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), complying with EEO processes and maintaining complete candidate tracking information.
  • Passionate about building diverse teams.
  • Diplomacy and confidentiality are a must. 
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing situations. Demonstrates they are agile and can adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the business. 
  • Ability to handle high volume and diverse requisition load in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to discuss hiring activity utilizing ATS reports and sharing progress at any moment.
  • English is a must and Spanish will be considered a plus.
