Talent Acquisition Partner - Japan

This is a newly created role for an experienced recruiter with a passion for delivering a great candidate experience. We welcome candidates seeking a short term contract.

We are seeking a corporate recruiter to focus on attracting and recruiting for our technical and non-technical positions.

You will be responsible for managing and supporting the entire recruiting process for all assigned roles. In addition, you will have in depth understanding of how to work within an ATS and provide accurate and timely reporting across all positions in your portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Pipeline and source top talent for our business converting passive talent to hires.
  • Achieve results that meet our Talent Acquisition goals and deadlines. Driven to excel and hire top talent for our hiring teams.
  • Knowledge of using latest recruiting methods/technologies and improving our organization attractiveness by keeping abreast of industry trends and talent.
  • Build a thorough sourcing strategy that outlines our process and documents our recruiting plan.
  • Manages the interview process with candidates and hiring managers to demonstrate a top candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring teams and understand hiring profiles, programming languages and technical requirements.
  • Effectively identify, utilising and managing the resources necessary to accomplish recruiting goals and objectives including gathering and preparing documentation with regards to all candidate interactions and maintaining applicant tracking database for reporting purposes.
  • Effectively partner with HR business partners and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth recruiting process and experience for everyone involved
  • Ensure candidate data and tracking is all completed within the ATS
  • Promote the Genesys brand through the recruiting process
  • Provide guidance and support on refining job descriptions as required
  • Post positions on appropriate job boards and with local universities and alumni sites.
  • Utilize social and professional networks

You’ve been there and done this…

Qualifications/Skills Desired and Preferred:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in direct search experience sourcing and recruiting passive candidates, or candidates with specific niche technologies required.
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed and matrix-based workforce
  • Experience with Taleo ATS is a plus
  • Must be sensitive to and proactive about ensuring a positive candidate experience regardless of the eventual outcome
  • Must be able to partner with hiring managers, HR, and the rest of the team effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert knowledge of sourcing, networking, social media and technology to attract top technical talent.
  • Proven experience educating, supporting and influencing hiring managers regarding best practices in the recruiting process, interviewing and the selection.
  • Driven by results to enhance the candidate experience, hire the most qualified candidate and meet time to fill goal.
  • Passion to drive diverse hires in the business and get results.
  • Must have strong experience in providing consistent communication and messages to candidates and hiring managers regarding our process, company updates, products, and culture.
  • Ability to work independently, manage confidential data and be resourceful.
  • Follow recruitment SLA process and drive hiring decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Open for Full-Time or Part-Time employment


Safety for our employees and our communities is a key priority for Genesys. We continue to experience rapid growth during the Covid-19 pandemic and are conducting remote hiring and onboarding processes. All hiring and onboarding processes are being conducted remotely at this time. We utilize Zoom video meetings and phone calls during the interview process. We will be working remotely through at least June 30, 2021, in most locations and we are re-evaluating the opening date of all the Genesys offices on an ongoing basis.
