Training Manager – People Development

Location: Manila, Philippines

We’re looking for a top-notch Training Manager to support skill development for our fast growing company.  In this role, you will be part of a growing People Development organization and report to the Global Head of Learning.

 

You would be responsible for facilitating and running trainings and workshops, supporting focused training activities with the goal of enhancing skills and knowledge in specific business areas. Your strong L&D background allows you to both facilitate learning and partner with subject matter experts and local HR and site leadership to create a strong training presence not only in Manila but in APAC region.  You will work cross-functionally and collaborate to ensure the right training is delivered to the right audience using the right modality at the right time.

 
 
 
What You’ll Do

This role will be part of People Development for Genesys and work closely with Training team to identify needs and deliver training & leadership development programs. 

In general, you will:

  • Partner closely with HR and Business leaders to assess training needs through consultation, surveys, interviews with employees, & focus groups.
  • Design, plan, organize, or direct training programs for Genesys employees across the globe.
  • Deliver and present training using a variety of instructional techniques, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, etc.
  • Prioritize training programs across multiple audiences.
  • Monitor & evaluate training completion and program effectiveness.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to market training opportunities to increase participation rates.
  • Support day-to-day training priorities and projects and People Development programs globally.
  • Some APAC travel required for leadership training in key sites.
 
About You:
  • 5-7 years of experience in training delivery and design.
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Leadership training experience preferred.
  • Strong program management skills.
  • Hands-on development, implementation and administration of training programs.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory and principles.
  • Working knowledge of training evaluation tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
