Job Summary:
Genesys powers more than 25 billion of the world's best customer experiences each year.  We are at a pivotal moment in our history as we increase our focus on the Genesys Cloud and inject AI across our customer experience platforms.  We’re seeking an innovative Product Management leader to guide the PureEngage product through this transformative period of innovation and growth.   The PureEngage product is optimized for Enterprise customers, presenting unique opportunities to drive digital transformation through both cloud migrations for our existing customer base and new customer acquisition.

You are innovative & hands-on Product Management leader with a track record of experience with SaaS solutions and cloud migrations in high growth organizations.  You know how to build customer relationships, influence business outcomes, and lead teams with a balance of humility and strength.   You have a passion for innovative SaaS solutions, thrive in a fast paced & changing environment, relish in both the strategic & the tactical, and possess demonstrated people leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The VP Product Management is responsible for growing the PureEngage business by identifying important needs in the market and collaborating with key roles in company to drive the full product lifecycle.  The primary responsibilities for this role are:
  • Provide multi-functional leadership and strategic direction for the PureEngage business unit including the Genesys Cloud offer.
  • Grow Genesys Cloud business and market share with compelling AI-powered offers.
  • Set the overall vision and strategy for the product portfolio, allocate spend, and communicate both cross-team and cross-functionally.
  • Conduct primary research to uncover customer pain points, and identifying market opportunities.
  • Inspire cross-functional peers – including engineering, sales, marketing and finance – to buy-in to the offer vision and realize results.
  • Oversee commercialization of offers and execution of effective go-to-market plans.
  • Identify KPIs which constitute a successful PM organization, communicate them to the broader team and constantly measure against them, adapting approach in real time to match shifting demands and situations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management leadership roles, including SaaS solutions, or equivalent mix of business, commercial, or engineering leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully hiring, motivating, and retaining talented product management leaders.
  • Proven ability to create new products within a fast growth environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and operational execution.
  • Experienced in agile product planning and development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated sophisticated skills in business modelling and valuation.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Embraces complex and ambiguous situations and able to effectively make decisions in this environment.
  • Direct and collaborate with teams to create marketing plans, new product development, current portfolio evolution and lifecycle management strategies.
  • Exemplary leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills as evidenced by ability to build support, loyalty, and commitment.

Desirable Skills:
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience with customer migrations from premise to SaaS-based solutions.
  • Experience with financial analysis for decision making Education in technical and business disciplines strongly preferred.
  • Experience in collecting competitive intelligence and mapping market segments.
  • Ability to sift through complex information and focus on the critical priorities and able to translate strategy into business objectives with clear accountability.
  • Demonstrated decisiveness as evidenced by the ability to make decisions with speed and accuracy.
  • Adaptable and open to change in response to unexpected circumstances and or in working in ambiguous situations.
  • Proven ability to accept and deliver constructive criticism at all levels of the organization.
  • Has proven ability to anticipate customer needs and ensures they are met.
